HEL Caterham Brake Hoses Hoses are available for front and rear brake lines on wide-track models and for front brake lines on all other models. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. HEL brake line kits can be provided with a pvc cover available in transparent red, red, "KTM" orange, transparent yellow, yellow, lime "Kawasaki" green, transparent green, transparent neon blue, blue, denim blue, dark blue, purple, pink, black, transparent carbo-look, silver-gray, white or clear. This pvc cover is extruded onto the hose during manufacture so it adheres to the braid and does not ripple like heat shrink covers normally do. Kits contain all items required for a complete installation including stainless steel banjo bolts and copper washers. £POA |

Mintex Caterham Brake Pads Mintex brake pads provide the optimum balance of performance and extended service life. Mintex friction - Engineered for quality. Developed and engineered to set new standards. Mintex 1144 is the material for fast road use as well as light competition such as hill climb and track day use. One of the main characteristics of this material is the ability to work from cold, which gives the user the confidence of a standard material on the first application of the brakes. The benefit of M1144 is experienced as the temperature within the brakes starts to increase. M1144 will remain stable and consistent through to 450c where a standard material at this temperature will most certainly start to fade. The bedding in procedure for M1144 is the same as any standard material i.e. steady braking for the first 50 miles, avoiding emergency stops. Few brake friction compounds are as highly regarded as PAGID RS4-2. Technically, RS4-2 is a carbon based compound with a medium friction level. It has excellent low temperature response, remains very stable over a wide temperature range, and can withstand constant temperatures up to 600°C. RS4-2 is a very user-friendly compound with excellent modulation and 'feel'. Drivers report excellent pedal-feel that gives confidence in extreme braking situations. With its optimum blend of performance characteristics RS4-2 is widely used across many forms of motorsport from single seaters (Formula 3), through sports car racing (Britcar), to Group N rallying on gravel and wet tarmac surfaces. Lower Disc Wear - Another significant advantage of RS4-2, in comparison to many competitor products, is its relatively low wear rate on the brake discs.
